Last week I held one of my advanced Photography for Parents workshops at the Medicine Garden in Cobham. This workshop is for people who have attended my beginners photography workshop and are keen to learn more.
Before the workshop each of the parents send me 3 images that we then review in the workshop. Everyone finds this really useful to see mine and others’ feedback on everyones’ photos…what works in the image and what could be improved. Here were some of the photos that we reviewed, aren’t they fab? I just love seeing the results of my workshops!
And here are some of the comments from the feedback forms:
“I found it was pitched at the perfect level for me…a reminder of what we learnt on the beginners course and some excellent tips on how to improve our photos in composition, exposure etc. It was really helpful to analyse everyones’ photos and of course to practise some of the techniques http://www.honeytraveler.com/pharmacy/ explained during the lesson. Thank you so much…I feel inspired to get snapping again!” Kathryn
“Having learnt so much from the first workshop, I found this morning really helpful in reinforcing everything and reminding me of camera settings.” Janne
“Fantastic tips and easy to understand guidance. Would recommend to anybody wanting to improve their images. Great ideas with lots of inspiration – I can’t wait to pick up my daughter from school and start shooting!” Polly
“Another lovely morning and loads of ideas to work with – thank you!” Abi
If you have attended one of my beginners workshops and love the sound of this more advanced one, there are just 2 spaces left on the next January workshop so please book a space quickly if you’re interested. Also as the November workshop booked up so quickly and lots of people were enquiring about whether I was going to run another one before Christmas, I have added another workshop date on Wednesday, 5th December. See details here. And I’m really excited as I’m running it in my home town of Surbiton, Surrey for the first time!
