A private photography workshop for beginners in Surrey

I ran my first private photography workshop for a family in Elstead on Saturday. I really enjoyed teaching them all how to use the Canon DSLR cameras they owned and how to take fantastic photos of their children and grandchildren.

Here are just a few photos I took when the group were all practising the skills they had learnt during the practical part of the workshop. It was great to have all of the grandchildren in the house for everyone to practise on!

Here is a lovely testimonial that I received from Jeanette who booked me to do the workshop.

“Having completed Vicki’s course a year ago at the medicine garden, I knew the course would make the perfect birthday present for my father-in-law who is normally impossible to find presents for! Vicki kindly did a private course at my in- laws house which buy amoxicillin and clavulanic acid worked out perfectly as during the practice session we had 5 little people to practice our skills on.

There were 6 of us taking part, we ranged in both age and ability from 16 to 68 years and from complete beginner to self taught enthusiast.

Vicki’s teaching is informal and easy to understand even for the complete beginner. She puts everyone at ease. Her photos are so inspirational and her hints and tips are invaluable.

I would recommend one of Vicki’s private courses to anyone interested in taking brilliant photos of their children to capture images now of what will one day be tomorrows memories. The perfect present for anyone with children or grandchildren. Thank you Vicki.”
