Taking photos on your summer holiday

I hope you’re having a great summer. Our summer in the UK seems to have ended now and it’s only mid-August…can’t really complain though as we did have weeks & weeks of lovely sunshine!

I thought I would share a couple of photos from our recent holiday to the South of France. I was using tip 3 from my 6 tips for taking great photos of your family holiday.  In this tip I talked about how I love shooting just before going out for dinner. You know that lovely time of the day when you’ve showered after a day on the beach or by the pool and you’re all ready to go out. The light is lovely and soft and everyone is generally in a good mood!

I took this photo of the boys with their buddies on the stairs in front of the house. So I was also incorporating tip number 2 which is to photograph in open shade. (by the way, if you want big laughs buy amoxicillin online like this just get someone to moon over your shoulder! ;-))

You already know I feel passionately about the fact that us parents should feature in our family photos. So I always try and make sure I hand the camera over and get a shot of the 4 of us or just of me and hubby. Now our eldest is 6, I can trust him to hold my camera without dropping it. So I set the camera up and he just presses the shutter….and he does a pretty good job. This is the photo that he took of us….I think I’ve got competition!

I am still busy working on my upcoming online course….it’s all looking fantastic but I want to make sure it’s perfect before I launch it!

I’ve also been very busy with all of my summer family shoots, check them out here on my photography blog.

Enjoy the rest of the summer holidays!
