Family Holiday in Singapore & Indonesia

We are now back from an amazing 2 weeks in Singapore and Indonesia. I know Singapore isn’t the first destination you think about when planning a family holiday, but my best friend and Karl’s best pal both moved over there in September with their partners (completely randomly, they didn’t know each other….what are the chances?!)

So we decided to go over and see them before baby number 2 comes along and we just had the best time. We stayed at my friend’s gorgeous apartment first. Here is our boy enjoying the view from the balcony……

Here is my happy hubbie Karl on one of our nights out…

And me and my bestest pal Lizzie…..oh how I miss her!

This is how we kept our son amused while we were having dinner……watching Fireman Sam on his DVD player. I know, lazy parenting in full effect but he was happy and so were we! We did get a few strange looks from the other diners though as everyone has maids so there aren’t many kids still out at 10pm!

Then we spent a wonderful 4 days on an island in Indonesia which was just paradise. H absolutely adored the beach and sand as these photos below show! I love this one of my two gorgeous boys…

I managed to get Karl to get behind the camera to capture this shot of H saying hello to his baby brother or sister.

A rare serious moment from my little man…

Then we stayed at Fox and Sarah’s lovely house back in Singapore and spent some great time on the beach and eating out at some fab restaurants. Here is me in the middle of two beautiful blondes having brunch at the Fullerton on our last day….

And one of the boys….

And a shot of the 7 of us just before the goodbyes (and the tears!) started.

What a fantastic trip and some wonderful memories and images to look back on for years to come. Just have to decide how to get the photos framed and where to put them in the house now!

We only got back yesterday, so my first shoot is tomorrow morning……I’m looking forward to getting back to it and promise I will post some images of my lovely clients and their children very soon.

Just a quick update on availability. I only have two weekend sessions left before I start my maternity leave at the end of May, these are on Sat 10th April and Sat 17th April. So if you are looking to book a weekend shoot please get in contact asap. My next available weekday session is Wed 24th March so they are all getting booked up quickly too. Can’t believe it’s only 16 weeks til I have the baby!
