Spring has sprung!

Well I think we can safely say that winter is now over, phew! I’m not a lover of grey skies and cold weather (who is?!) so I’m very happy that the clocks have now gone forward (hooray for light evenings!) and there is colour everywhere.

Spring is a perfect time for taking photos outside…there are beautiful flowers everywhere, kids seem to have a spring in their step (see what I did there?!) and the sun is still nice and soft which makes it easier to shoot in. Whenever I’ve been out to parks recently I am seeing loads of Mums and Dads taking photos of their little ones which is great to see.

I had my spring mini sessions at Claremont Gardens in Esher on Saturday and we had a lovely morning for it, there wasn’t a cloud in the sky. Here is the teeniest sneak peek from the morning, I will be sharing lots more soon over on my family photography blog.

For my readers in the UK, I hope you all had a lovely Mother’s Day on Sunday….so pleased the sun was shining for all of us Mums!

I now have a lot of editing to do after all my recent spring shoots, but do come back and visit my blog next Monday as I am writing an exciting post all about why it’s so important that you are in your own family photos (with a few embarrassing pics of me!)
