Photographing in the lavender fields

I’ve been a little quiet on this blog in the past month as I’ve been so busy with all of my summer family shoots. I have lots of tips planned to share with you on here, but they will have to wait until later in the summer.

I thought I would pop on and share a few images I’ve taken in the last week in the gorgeous lavender fields in Surrey.

Is there anything better than twirling in a field full of lavender when you’re a 4 year old girl wearing a twirly dress? I think not!

And how cute is this? A little boy reaching up tenderly to his baby brother or sister to-be.

Check out if you are lucky enough to live near lavender fields, I know there are fields located in Banstead, Surrey (where these photos above were taken) Hampshire, the Cotswolds, Kent and in other places around the UK. If you are a professional photographer please be aware that most lavender fields do charge a fee for doing professional shoots there.
