I get a lot of emails with people asking me what camera and lenses I use. I use very different kit for my own family photos and my professional work as a Surrey child & family photographer.

The reason for this is that I don’t want to take out my very expensive equipment on holiday or on day trips with my children when I’m going to be constantly worried about it getting damaged.

So for my personal photos up until recently I was using the following equipment:
Canon 700D
Canon 35mm F2
Canon 50mm F1.8
Sigma 17-50mm F2.8

But in 2017 I sold my Canon 700d and swapped it for a much smaller camera, the Panasonic Lumic LX100. I’m loving it so far!

And here is the equipment I use for my professional work:
Canon 5D mark iii x2
Canon 70-200 F2.8L
Sigma Art 85mm F1.4
Canon 135mm F2L
Sigma Art 50mm F1.4
Canon 35mm F2
